Navigating Change
After three decades of marriage, Sarah Palin and Todd Palin divorced in 2020. Now, Palin is dating Ron Duguay, a retired New York Rangers player. This new chapter follows a significant life shift.
Reflections on Divorce
In a recent interview with The New York Post, Palin, described her divorce as “earth-shattering.” She explained, “It was the most earth-shattering, bizarre thing I could have ever imagined, and it kind of remains so.” Palin discovered the divorce through an email from Todd’s attorney. Despite this, the former couple has moved on. Palin noted that Todd now spends time with his girlfriend of some duration.
New Romance Blossoms
Palin has shifted her focus to her relationship with Duguay, who was previously married to supermodel Kim Alexis. Their connection deepened when Duguay reached out for guidance on Palin’s defamation lawsuit against The New York Times. Although the lawsuit was dropped, Palin’s bond with Duguay has grown. She described their relationship as “safe and comfortable,” with Duguay acting as her tour guide during her New York trial. “In my spare time, he would walk all over New York and show me what he and the Rangers used to do,” Palin shared.
Support for Congressional Campaign
Duguay has become a strong supporter of Palin’s congressional campaign. Palin recently announced her candidacy for the U.S. House seat representing Alaska, a position previously held by Rep. Don Young until his passing in March. “Today, I’m announcing my candidacy for the U.S. House seat representing Alaska,” Palin stated, with backing from former President Donald Trump. She emphasized her commitment to public service, expressing her desire to honor Rep. Young’s legacy and serve the state she deeply cares about.
With these developments, Sarah Palin is embracing new opportunities while staying true to her passion for Alaska and the United States.
