
Struggling with Scones
I’ve tried making scones several times, but they always turn out too dry and crumbly. Admittedly, I’m not the most skilled baker. However, I recently discovered a simple scone recipe that promises better results.

Never Fail Scones
Ingredients
- 4 cups self-raising flour
- 300ml thickened cream
- 1 can of lemonade (around 300ml)
Method
- Add self-raising flour to a bowl and make a well in the center. Pour in the cream and lemonade.
- Mix well to form a dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it’s no more than 2cm thick.
- Cut out scones with a scone cutter and brush with milk once placed on the pan.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes in a moderate oven or until golden brown.
- Serve with cream and jam. Enjoy!
