Clean Your Toilet with Distilled Vinegar
Cleaning the toilet isn’t my favorite chore. It’s unpleasant, and removing hard water stains is particularly challenging. However, this cleaning tip using distilled vinegar might make the job easier!
Why Distilled Vinegar?
Distilled vinegar is a natural disinfectant that breaks down mineral residue from hard water stains.
Steps to Clean Your Toilet
- Empty the Toilet Bowl:
- Use a plunger to remove as much water as possible. The bowl should be as empty and dry as possible.
- Apply Distilled Vinegar:
- Pour distilled vinegar into the toilet bowl.
- Soak a few paper towels in vinegar and place them around the rim, ensuring they stick.
- Let It Sit:
- Leave the paper towels and vinegar overnight.
- Scrub and Flush:
- In the morning, remove the paper towels.
- Scrub the toilet bowl with a toilet brush and flush.
Repeat if Necessary
