A Painful Memory
From Florida, Taylor recounted mistreatment by a former boyfriend. On her 21st birthday, something terrible happened, but the details remain hazy. She awoke injured and distressed in a hotel, discovering horrifying tattoos on her face.
Failed Concealment
Taylor tried hiding the tattoos with makeup, but her boss noticed. Realizing she couldn’t live like that, her boss empathized and offered to cover the tattoos with blackout ink, giving her a chance at a normal life. Despite this, Taylor still faced job rejections due to her facial tattoos.
