Understanding Plunger Types
There are two main types of plungers, and they serve different purposes. Because they look similar, you might have used them interchangeably, which could be why your efforts fail. One plunger is for sinks and tubs, while the other is specifically for toilets.
Choosing the Right Plunger
- Sink and Tub Plungers: These have a simple, flat bottom. Use them for clogged sinks or tubs.
- Toilet Plungers: These have an added rubber section at the bottom. Use them for toilets.
Proper Plunging Technique
