Arithmetic Question
During an arithmetic lesson, Little Johnny faced a question from the teacher.
The teacher asked, “If you had eleven dollars and I requested a loan of six dollars, how much would you have left?”
Little Johnny’s Response
Little Johnny answered, “Eleven dollars.”
The teacher inquired, “Why eleven?”
Johnny’s Explanation
Little Johnny explained, “You might ask for a loan of six dollars, but that doesn’t mean you’ll actually get it!”
