Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson’s Naming Dilemma
When Kelly Osbourne and her partner Sid Wilson welcomed their first child in 2022, they named him Sidney Wilson. However, a part of the name always bothered Osbourne, and she struggled to convince Wilson to change it.
The Disagreement
In a recent episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Osbourne, 39, recalled “the biggest fight” she and her partner ever had. “I wanted our son to have both of our last names, and Sid wouldn’t let me,” she said. “We had a huge fight. I felt forced into something I didn’t want to do, and I can never forgive him for that, but we can move on.”
Reaching an Agreement
Despite Wilson’s initial insistence on using only his surname, Osbourne hoped to change his mind. After many discussions and some couples therapy, Wilson agreed. They decided to legally change their son’s name to include both of their last names. “We both made our child, so he should have both of our last names,” Osbourne stated.
