She has always been thought of as inexhaustible — even invincible. When Zara saw her mother in a hospital bed with a severe concussion and memory loss, she was understandably shaken,” Andersen said.

Andersen noted the royal family’s current health challenges: “With both King Charles and Princess Kate battling cancer at the same time, it’s hard to escape the feeling that the royal family is falling apart physically. Princess Anne’s injury only underscores that perception.” He added that more responsibility now falls on Prince William and Queen Camilla, with Camilla turning 77 next week. After Anne’s accident, changes were made to The Royal Diary on the royal family’s website, removing her upcoming engagements as she recovers. A source told OK! magazine that Anne’s injury left Zara “shaken to the core,” and the family is distressed and hoping her memory loss is temporary. Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News, “Princess Anne is quite stalwart and will be resolute in returning to work as soon as she can while taking the advice of her medical team. Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Anne’s husband, provided an update, saying, “She is recovering well, thank you.
