The caramel sauce is made with a can of sweetened condensed milk, making the process super simple. Combine it with butter and sugar on the stove top until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened. Next, whisk in a little milk, vanilla, and a handful of chopped peanuts (or the nut of your choice!). Once that mixture is fully combined, spoon it onto the crackers and then let them cool.

Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup peanuts, roughly chopped
- 1-2 sleeves Ritz crackers
Preparation
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and arrange crackers in a single layer.
- In a small saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring often.
- Reduce heat to low and whisk in milk, vanilla, and peanuts until smooth. Cook for 2 additional minutes or until mixture is thick, then remove from heat.
- Use a cookie scoop to top each cracker with the caramel mixture.
- Allow cookies to fully cool, then store in an airtight container.
