Beloved Toby Keith told followers he wasn’t feeling well in the middle of 2022. He wrote a statement on his Instagram and Twitter accounts to let his supporters know what was going on with him.

“I was told I had stomach cancer last autumn. For the past six months, I’ve had radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery. Everything is going OK so far. The singer wrote, “I need time to recoup, breathe, and relax.

The country musician did not allow his illness to break his spirits. He promised to visit his fans again soon as he concluded his note. “I am excited to be with my family during this time. However, I’ll see the fans as soon as possible. I’m very excited,” he wrote and signed his initials.

Keith had always been an outspoken supporter of cancer research, even before to receiving his own diagnosis. He founded the Toby Keith Foundation in 2006 to assist in providing free housing for kids with cancer.
