A UPS driver’s shocking TikTok video makes headlines.

Meet Skyler Stutzman, a UPS driver from Millersburg, Oregon, who has taken the internet by storm with his recent TikTok video. In the video, Skyler shared the details of his weekly earnings, leaving viewers amazed at the numbers.

Transparency in sharing pay information is something that Skyler values, especially across different professions. As a content creator on TikTok with a considerable following, he understands the importance of providing insights into wages for his audience.

In the video, Skyler revealed that his weekly earnings totaled $2,004.98, with taxes and deductions bringing it down to $1,313.24. This revelation quickly dispelled any misconceptions about the income of a UPS driver.

But that’s not all. Skyler also broke down his earnings on an hourly basis, showcasing that his pay rate is $44.26 per hour. However, the remarkable thing is that his income is not solely based on a fixed hourly wage. Regular overtime and production bonuses contribute to a total of $42.76 per hour. With 1,735 hours of work per year, Skyler’s annual income amounts to $76,243, averaging approximately $44 per hour.

Skyler’s video received an overwhelming response on TikTok, with many users expressing their surprise at the earnings of a UPS driver. Some even jokingly considered a career switch. One comment humorously read, “Damn maybe I should become a UPS driver.”

The stark contrast between Skyler’s income and that of others with more experience and education was also a topic of discussion. This revelation has challenged many people to reconsider their career choices.

In a follow-up video, Skyler explained the journey to becoming a full-time UPS driver at the top rate. It took him nearly 10 years, starting from when he joined the company at 18 and working his way up from the warehouse to a driving position.

Skyler’s TikTok revelation has shed light on the earning potential of UPS drivers and sparked interest from people in various professions. It serves as a reminder that income disparities can exist even within industries we may not expect. This highlights the importance of transparency in conversations about wages and careers.
