The Hospital Corridor

Four expectant fathers anxiously pace the hospital corridor as their wives are in labor. Suddenly, a nurse approaches the first man, her grin wide. “Congratulations! It’s twins!” she announces. The man pauses, then chuckles. “What a coincidence,” he says. “I work for the Minnesota Twins.”

Next, the nurse turns to the second father. “Triplets!” she exclaims. The man’s eyes widen in amazement. “That’s incredible!” he responds. “I’ve always loved threes. I work for 3M, after all.”

As the nurse reaches the third man, his face lights up with joy. “Quadruplets!” she declares. The man jumps from his chair. “Unbelievable!” he shouts. “I’ve always dreamed of a big family. I work at the Four Seasons Hotel!”

Meanwhile, the fourth man is not feeling the same excitement. He paces frantically, running his hands through his hair. The nurse approaches carefully. “Is everything okay?” she asks. He turns to her, a mix of despair and disbelief in his eyes. “I work for 7-Up!” he cries out. “I’m doomed!”
