Eva is faced with a turning point in the gloomy environment of a hospital ward as her sick mother Alma begs her to mend fences with her father. Alma’s weak but resolute voice reverberates, highlighting how important this link is—especially in the event that she doesn’t survive her illness.
After Alma’s death, Eva reluctantly complies with her mother’s request and sets out on a quest to get back in touch with her father, Oscar. Eva is currently in foster care.
