How To Open Canned Goods Without A Can Opener

You never know when you’re going to be stuck in an unpredictable situation and need to fend for yourself. That’s where tips like this one can come in handy. Say you’re camping and realize you don’t have a can opener. You’d probably start to panic, right? Well, there’s no need to fret once you learn this clever hack!

All you need to do is take the edge of a spoon and firmly press it into the rim of the can until you break through the top. Once you’ve made that first cut, use the spoon to keep piercing through the top of the can. Remember, the edges of the metal are extremely sharp, so be very careful or consider wearing protective gloves.
