Optical illusions can be fun little challenges to test both your eyesight and resolve to find the hidden picture or message. While at first, they might seem like they’re going to be an easy task, they sometimes are not.

But even with their challenges, they can definitely be entertaining enough to pass the time…or start a whole internet debate!

Either way, did you know that only roughly one percent of people are able to find the elephant that is hidden within the image? At least, that’s the case according to Hectic Nick. It sounds easy enough, especially since we all know what an elephant looks like. But according to the optical illusion below, it’s not as easy as it seems.

The image has been shared on TikTok by Hectic Nick, and he asked his followers to help him solve the illusion. Needless to say, the optical illusion went viral quite quickly online as others jumped on the difficulty train.

Nick wrote in the video, “Only one percent of people can find the hidden elephant in this image.”

For those that were having a difficult time finding the elephant in the optical illusion, he did give his viewers a little helpful hint. For those who can’t find the elephant straight away, he did mention, “It’s not easy, but try flipping your phone over and you might be able to find it.”

Still, even with turning the picture around, the optical illusion is not any easier to find. Some people shared that even with the helpful hint that Nick gave them, they still had a very tough time finding the elephant.

One person wrote, “I took ten hours to find this.”

But it wasn’t all struggles for others, as some people were able to find the hidden elephant straight away. As another person said, “Saw it without having to flip. I guess I’m in the one percent.”

Meanwhile, others weren’t that convinced by the elephant looking like an elephant, with someone else writing, “I worked it out straight away but it doesn’t really look like an elephant.”
