The mother, Alandria Worthy, initially decided not to rush to the hospital, anticipating a prolonged labor. However, as her contractions intensified around 7:30 am, she realized it was time to go.

During their drive to the hospital, Worthy’s contractions became too intense, prompting a stop at a nearby McDonald’s when she urgently needed to use the restroom.

Urgent Assistance

While in the McDonald’s bathroom, Worthy’s water broke, and she quickly went into labor. Alerting the employees, she received immediate assistance from the McDonald’s staff.

Quick Thinking and Support

General Manager Tunisia Woodward and two colleagues, Sha’querria Kaigler and Keisha Blue-Murray, acted swiftly to help deliver the baby in the bathroom. Kaigler called 911 while Blue-Murray and the fiancé assisted Worthy through labor.

A Rapid Delivery

With the support of the McDonald’s employees and her fiancé, Worthy successfully delivered the baby after just three pushes.
